We are excited to announce we have partnered with growing eco brand Otra-Vida to curate a stunning collection of sustainable tables.
These beautiful sustainable coffee tables and sustainable dining tables are made from recycled single use plastics. The clever team at Otra-Vida divert 1000s of single use drinking bottles, yoghurt pots and food containers and turn them into tabletops as well as many homeware products.
The tabletops come in a kaleidoscope of colours - from cool chalk white to popping speckled. True, vibrant and rich colours make for really stylish tables - they are the focal point of any room.
Our sustainable table collection also offers plywood legs or table clamp legs. Eco-friendly ply offers an understated but smart option while the metal clamp legs add some industrial chic as well as some more popping colours to complement or contrast the tabletop.
But these are practical options too. The table tops are durable, heat resistant and perfect for day to day use. The pill shaped dining table maximises room and comfort - its the place for great nights around the table with friends. The dining tables are ideal for dining kitchens or contemporary open plan spaces.
The coffee tables are lightweight but sturdy - drop them into the perfect space for the perfect finishing touch. As founder David Wright explains
I set out to find a better way to use our single use plastic waste, being passionate about the environment and trying to live a realistic eco-friendly life. Having always had an interest in interiors and homeware I set out to find a way in which we can make these with sustainable and recycled materials, marrying two passions and Otra-Vida was born. I started working on the concept in 2019 but we weren’t able to properly launch until 2020 due to pandemic. Otra-Vida translates to ‘another life’ which we believe we are giving to plastic waste. Having started with a simple food platter it has grown into dining tables, coffee tables, bar stools, benches and coasters amongst many other things with more ideas in the pipeline.
